HPC Precision Engineering has recently taken delivery of a third Makino A100e ready to join the 48 bay FASTEMS cell currently serviced by two identical Makino A100e horizontal machining centers. The HPC FASTEMS cell currently handles components for Aston Martin, Varian Medical, JCB and Cummins Engines. The investment by HPC in this latest machine, fitted with a Hi-speed spindle and 180 tool magazine, will increase capacity for components up to two meters square.
